From students to everyone who would like to learn.
Pygame is a python library that is used for making games in python. With pygame you can make games like Tic-Tac-Toe, Rock Paper Scissors, and even Tetris. Additionally you will be able to improve upon your previous Python knowledge from our earlier lessons with new and harder concepts such as Object Oriented Programming.
Wondered how to make apps on your phone? In this workshop where design and coding converge, you will learn the basics of coding with Swift and application design. You will be able familiarize yourself with the coding language Apple uses. At the end of the workshop you will be able to create and use an application with Swift!
Unity is one of the most widely used platforms for game design and development. I'm sure playing computer games is an activity that everyone enjoys. However, if there is anything better than playing, it is to create your own game. In this workshop, you will create a simple game by learning the basics of both design and coding.
React Native is a mobile development framework developed by Facebook. By using this framework you can develop apps for IOS, Android, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and many more devices just with one codebase. Learning this system is extremely simple and fun. You can develop any app you want by React Native.
Autodesk Fusion360 is one of the computer-aided design programs used by many companies today. In this workshop, you will learn how to design a product using the 2D and 3D design features of this program. In addition, you will learn how to design prototypes of these products with production methods such as 3D printing and laser cutting. If you want to learn how companies create their products, this workshop is for you.
Java is an important programming language that has been used for many years and remains popular. Besides, it is an ideal language for those who want to get into programming with its simple interface. In this workshop, we will first start with a simple introduction to Java, its features, data types, methods, and more essential elements, then help you program and develop your first game!
In this workshop, you will learn how to create websites that we use frequently in daily life with HTML and CSS. We aim for you to use these simple programming languages in the future while also having fun. If you are interested in the behind-the-scenes of websites, we welcome you to our workshop!
Sonic Pi is a platform where you can create every kind of music and even use it in live concerts. In this workshop you will learn coding while writing your own music, and at the end of the training you will be able to make the computer compose by itself. If you are curious about where music and coding combine, this is the workshop for you!
OpenCV is a Python library that is mainly used for real-time image processing and computer vision. In this course, we will look at different methods and functions used within this library and look at some different types of implementations for this library.
Autodesk Maya is one of the most popular animation softwares used by studios such as Pixar to create animated movies. In this workshop you will first learn the basics of 3D animation in Maya, and at the end of the day you will have created your first short animation!
Have you ever thought about how well the websites you enter every day know you so well or how Siri understands you? In this course we will introduce the artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. During the workshop you will learn the mathematics of machine learning concepts and create your own applications. We will also discuss how voice communication, an inevitable part of human computer interaction, works. If you say this workshop is for you, sign up!
An introductory interactive course on entrepreneurship. This hands-on and interactive workshop will aim to help students learn brainstorming techniques and find a potential startup idea. Students will go through the ideation part of the startup process, and introduce themselves to the visionary world of innovation!
Developed by MIT, Scratch is an easy and fun platform for those who want to learn programming with the block coding interface. Scratch teaches children the logic of programming in a practical way. This provides a solid foundation for coding in the future. In our Scratch workshop, you will create projects such as games and animations that are easily programmed. With Scratch, you will make our projects more concrete using electronic equipment: Makey Makey. With Makey Makey, you will turn conductive objects we use in our daily lives into a touch pad for the Scratch games you create. At the end of the day, each participant will leave with lots of different projects!
From students to everyone who would like to learn.
This year we organized the 2nd ISCI Summit in ASC Athens, Greece. The students from ASC, AFS Thessaloniki and Hisar School gave various workshops such as Scratch, Arduino, Fusion, Botany, Mental Health and lot more. Four of the twelve workshops were given by our students and the organization has achieved a great success. With 4 workshops; Scratch, Arduino, Python and Fusion, we introduced 400 students to our field.
The ASC students had hosted us. We got to know a different culture and had a great time. We had the opportunity organize an inspiring organization with our peers from different cultures and geographies.
Our orgnanization will be held in our school. Please don't hesitate to contact us for your questions
